NFL Week 8 picks

Last week: 9-6
Last night: 0-1
Season record: 73-35

So I am done picking the Bucs.  Greg Schiano may not be coaching that team at the end of the season, or maybe not even in November.  The NFL may also be calling for the three Florida teams (combined record of 0-17) to secede from the league.  Yikes.  Anyway, here are the rest of this week's picks.....

NY Giants at Philadelphia--There is no doubt that the Giants will try to use that Monday night first win of the season against a hapless Vikings team to give them false hope that they can beat their nemesis Eagles.  And there is no doubt they will revert to their losing ways.  Eagles 31, Giants 23

San Francisco "at" Jacksonville--Maybe the Jags will improve by leaving their suckitude in the Atlantic Ocean on the way to London where they will "host" the Niners.  Nah, suckitude cannot and will not be shed.  Maybe ever.  Niners 33, Jags 10

Dallas at Detroit--I mean, it's Thanksgiving somewhere, right?  Cowboys 37, Lions 34

Cleveland at Kansas City--The only thing that could backfire here is the Chiefs overlooking the Browns.  Oh wait, Brandon Weeden.  Chiefs 23, Browns 16

Miami at New England--It's getting to be that time of year when the warm weather teams get obliterated by cold weather teams in cold weather stadiums.  Patriots 23, Dolphins 10

Buffalo at New Orleans--Another win streak begins.  Saints 31, Bills 17

Pittsburgh at Oakland--Does this have a '70's feel to it?  Not really, because both of these teams are not very good.  Raiders 17, Steelers 16

NY Jets at Cincinnati--There is no doubt in my mind that Rex is not overconfident after beating the Pats.  Bengals 21, Jets 14

Washington at Denver--Uh-oh.  That Indy loss has relegated Peyton to sleeping in the film room all week.  Broncos 38, Redskins 27

Atlanta at Arizona--There isn't a yawn gif big enough to show how I feel about this one.  Cards 20, Falcons 17

Green Bay at Minnesota--What, we have to watch Josh Freeman on national TV two weeks in a row?  These games need to be all flex, all the time.  Packers 30, Vikings 17

Seattle at St. Louis--Another Monday night pile of crap.  Seahawks 24, Rams 6
